EV6 MPGe Questions
Which EV6 is the most efficient?
The 2023 and 2024 EV6 Long Range RWD has the top EPA rating at 117 MPGe combined (134 city, 101 highway). Among 2026 models, the EV6 Standard Range RWD is rated at 115 MPGe combined.
What's the range of the 2026 EV6?
The most efficient 2026 EV6 Standard Range RWD is rated at 115 MPGe combined, which works out to 29.2 kWh per 100 miles. Its EPA range is 237 miles. Range across 2026 versions runs from 231 to 319 miles.
What does MPGe mean?
MPGe stands for miles per gallon equivalent. The EPA counts 33.7 kWh of electricity as one gallon of gasoline, so a rating of 115 MPGe means the 2026 EV6 Standard Range RWD covers 115 miles on 33.7 kWh. kWh per 100 miles is the easier number for working out charging costs.
Why doesn't my EV6 match the EPA numbers?
EPA ratings come from standardized tests so every EV is measured the same way. Cold weather, heater and AC use, highway speed, tire pressure and cargo all change how far a EV6 goes on a charge. The ratings are best for comparing one model against another.

Where These Numbers Come From
This page was built by Cedrick Reese from the U.S. EPA fuel economy dataset on fueleconomy.gov, which holds 23 ratings for the Kia EV6 from 2022 to 2026. Each row in the table links to the matching EPA vehicle record, so you can check any figure against the source. Electric versions are rated in MPGe, the EPA's miles-per-gallon equivalent, and the table also shows their official range. When the EPA posts an updated file with new model years or corrected ratings, this page is rebuilt from it. The cost calculator uses your electricity rate you enter rather than a national average, so the result fits where you live.
Ratings on this page come from the EPA file downloaded on October 1, 2026.
