The calculators and vehicle pages are for general information. Vehicle ratings are EPA estimates from standardized tests, and your real-world mileage will vary with how and where you drive, the weather, load and upkeep. Cost results are estimates based on the prices and distances you enter. Nothing on this site is financial or mechanical advice, so check anything important before you rely on it.
Where the Data Comes From
Vehicle ratings come from the U.S. EPA fuel economy dataset published on fueleconomy.gov. We work to show it accurately, but we don't control the source data and can't guarantee it is free of errors. Each rating links to its EPA record so you can check it.
No Warranty and Limitation of Liability
The site and its tools are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We try to keep the formulas and data accurate and current, but we don't promise the site is error-free or always available. To the extent the law allows, Gas Mileage Calculators isn't liable for decisions made, or losses arising, from using the site or its results.
