Nexo MPGe Questions
Which Nexo is the most efficient?
The 2026 Nexo Blue has the top EPA rating at 68 MPGe combined (71 city, 64 highway).
Why doesn't my Nexo match the EPA numbers?
EPA ratings come from standardized tests so every EV is measured the same way. Cold weather, heater and AC use, highway speed, tire pressure and cargo all change how far a Nexo goes on a charge. The ratings are best for comparing one model against another.

Where These Numbers Come From
Every figure on this page comes from the U.S. EPA fuel economy dataset on fueleconomy.gov, pulled together by Cedrick Reese. The file lists 16 ratings for the Hyundai Nexo from 2019 to 2026. Each row in the table links to the matching EPA vehicle record, so you can check any figure against the source. Hydrogen fuel cell versions are rated in MPGe and are left out of the cost calculator, since hydrogen is sold by the kilogram. When the EPA posts an updated file with new model years or corrected ratings, this page is rebuilt from it.
Ratings on this page come from the EPA file downloaded on October 1, 2026.
